However, her patience (understandably) runs out when Adalind morphs herself to look like Juliette and has sex with Nick. Once Juliette regains her memory, she is 100% in. She continuously puts her life in danger to help Nick and his friends, especially when the Cracher-Mortel Wesen arrives to Portland, zombifying the city. Once Juliette regains her memories, she goes through the shock of learning about the Wesen world and what Nick does as a Grimm. In order to reinstate her memories of Nick and stop her obsession with Sean, Juliette agrees to begin a healing ritual, which ultimately causes her to have terrifying hallucinations and a lot of distress. Unfortunately the potion has a pretty significant side effect – it makes Juliette and Sean really hot for each other while making Juliette forget Nick. Nick’s friend, Rosalee, finds a way to revive Juliette and bring her back out of the coma – a potion that Nick’s boss, Sean Renard, needs to deliver to Juliette. She brought in a cat with poison under his claws and used it as an opportunity to deliver the poison to Juliette, sending her into a coma. In the first season alone – in addition to being frequently stood up, kidnapped, and tied up – is sent into a coma, thanks to a nasty spell by Adalind Schade (a Hexenbiest, or a witch and Nick’s worst enemy).Īdalind used Juliette’s position as a veterinarian in order to get to her. Throughout the years, Juliette has risked her own life, or been put in danger because of her relationship with the Grimm numerous times. She even puts her life on the line at one point when one of her friends tries to get out of a violent marriage. A calm, composed, and extremely intelligent veterinarian, Juliette is always ready to help Nick and her friends. The Grimm’s job is to fight and destroy the Wesen, the humans who are also (to some extent) shape shifters, allowing them special abilities.įor most of the first two seasons of the show, Juliette had no idea that her boyfriend is a Grimm, nor did she know about the Wesen.

A recent episode of Supernatural also left fans with more than a few surprises.Posted on by Janina Scarlet - Compassion, Fantasy / SciFi, Psychology, TV Shows
Grimm isn't the only show with edge-of-your-seat twists. Where it will end remains to be seen, but, with a fifth season already confirmed for Grimm, it seems entirely possible that alliances may change and or break down, while new friendships may also be on the horizon.
He can't make sensible decisions when she's around." I think it's starting to happen with Juliette, as well. For someone like Renard, who's derived from that lineage, it's very powerful for him. "There's some sort of magical component to these Hexenbiest, they're very sexual, they're like sirens. This new wrinkle in the Grimm story may change the way Juliette moves forward with Renard as well. Past episodes of Grimm focused on a dynamic between Renard and Juliette that was brought about by a Hexenbiest spell cast by Adalind and, although that curse has been cured, there has always remained something lying just beneath the surface. I don't think she realizes how powerful she is, and that's going to be played out over the course of the rest of the season."Ĭomplicating matters for everyone on Grimm, Sean Renard is equally distraught by Juliette's new condition, which will no doubt bring up old feelings. But right now, she's really just scared of hurting Nick. "As an actress, this is really, really fun," Tulloch said. Can a Grimm and a Hexenbiest love one another? That last episode of Grimm left fans feeling as shocked as Nick, when Juliette transformed into her dormant Hexenbiest right before Nick's eyes, so Grimm's latest episode "Bad Luck" will focus on Nick's reaction to that and whether or not his relationship with Juliette can endure such a devastating change. Grimm lovers will finally be able to see Nick's reaction to Juliette's revelation that she is now a Hexenbiest, but, for those that can't wait, a recent interview with Bitsie Tulloch (Juliette) provides a unique insight into what to expect, when Grimm resumes it's fourth season. The writers for Grimm left fans hanging with that last episode, just before Grimm went on a month long hiatus, but the show is set to return on its new Friday 8/7c timeslot. Warning: This article may contain spoilers for Grimm fans.
